Hot on the heels of our 2013 SRT Viper and SRT Viper GTS First Drive, Chrysler has just released pricing on the two supercars. The “base” Viper lists at $99,390 while the high-performing and content-rich Viper GTS starts at $122,390. Both figures include a $1995 destination charge. Dealers are expected to begin taking orders mid-November.
Motivation for both SRT Viper models comes from a 640-hp 8.4-liter V-10 engine. The mighty V-10 makes 600 lb-ft of torque, which SRT claims is the highest torque rating of any naturally aspirated production engine. Pay the $23,000 premium for the Viper GTS model and you’ll get a two-mode active suspension for track-day handling and improved street comfort. Viper GTS models also add improved interior materials and customization options.
Thanks to a significant weight reduction, the 2013 SRT Viper and 2013 SRT Viper GTS may be the best performing models to date. Be sure to check out our 2013 SRT Viper and Viper GTS First Drive here!
