It’ll be another year and change before the production Lexus LFA Roadster hits the road, but why wait?

Spotted recently on an unnamed race track in Japan, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a sighting of the custom LFA Roadster. Back in the beginning of the year, it made an appearance at a drift event prompting many to start the rumors that the LFA Roadster was on the horizon.

According to rumors this isn’t a pre-production prototype, but rather a custom modification made by an LFA owner.

For now, it’ll be the only LFA Roadster we’ll be seeing until the actual production one debuts.
