2013 Acura TSX Gets $500 Price Bump, TSX V-6 with Tech Package Costs $40,045

The 2013 Acura TSX will see a $500 price increase on every trim level, helping separate the former entry-level Acura from the smaller 2013 Acura ILX sedan. Wagon enthusiasts can still put a 2013 Acura TSX wagon on their shopping lists, though pricing info on that car will be available at a later date. The base-model 2013 Acura TSX – with a five-speed automatic transmission – costs $31,405 including destination.

Most 2013 Acura TSXs will be powered by a 201-hp, 170 lb-ft of torque 2.4-liter inline-four cylinder engine. Though the entry-level TSX costs $31,405, the special-edition model is $1000 more whether you choose the six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, though manual-transmission models gain 2 lb-ft of torque. Special-edition models gain a body kit, aluminum pedals, synthetic suede seats, a black headliner, and red stitching. Every 2013 TSX has HID headlights, a moonroof, leather seating, heated and power front seats, and a 360-watt seven-speaker audio system.

For comparison, the 2013 Acura ILX with the 2.0-liter I-4 engine starts at $30,095 with HID headlights and leather seats, but rises to $32,295 with features like a 10-speaker sound system and a navigation system. Above the 2013 TSX, the 2013 TL starts at $36,800.

If you want a navigation system, you’ll want the TSX with the technology package, which now costs $34,505. Aside from the navigation system, the tech package includes AcuraLink with traffic and weather info as well as a 415-watt, 10-speaker sound system.

The $40,045 2013 Acura TSX V-6 is still available, but now only with the technology package. Acura tells us the majority of TSX V-6s were already ordered with the extra set of options, so the V-6 base model has been dropped. As with the 2013 Acura TL, the 2013 TSX’s 3.5-liter V-6 produces 280 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque.
