It wasn’t all that long ago when the Peugeot RCZ coupe landed on our shores, but the fact remains that it’s been in production for more than two years now, and it’s now time for a makeover. The French carmaker has released first official pictures ahead of the facelifted car’s appearance at the Paris motor show later this month.
We can see the RCZ has been brought up to speed with its 508 and 208 brethren in the looks department. Peugeot has wiped the previous car’s huge smile off its face and replaced it with a smaller grille and a new front bumper that carries daytime-running LEDs.
Headlamps are new, as are the Peugeot bonnet and boot logos – that black background and chrome surround are no more. Darkened are its tail lamps now, and new wheel designs complete the exterior updates.
There have been special editions of the RCZ launched prior to this facelift, the latest of which was the RCZ Onyx for the French and German markets. The line-up from Peugeot that has so far been confirmed to attend Paris includes the 208 GTi, 208 XY and Onyx supercar concept (not to be confused with the special-edition RCZ).
What do you think – has the pretty Pug gotten prettier?
